Benefits of Committee Membership
Members of the HRSA committee receive restricted access to the HRSA database. Many branches conduct auctions of radio equipment where, for legal reasons, only members may buy. This software manages Auctions, Members fees, Report Generation, Events and Meetings, Search Tools ETC..
Access is restricted to the database to preserve members privacy. Auctions, Valve Bank Sales, Reporting and ID Card, Maps, Mail and Vcards are all available to all committee Members.
Conditions of Database Access
It is a condition of Membership of the Historical Radio Society of Australia Inc.,
that members support our objectives in a spirit of mutual co-operation. by
encouraging the preservation and restoration of vintage equipment and communication
of technical and historical data.
Members must observe the Society's rules relating to the conduct of Meetings and
events as advertised in connection to those events and use the Database for the
Members must not compromise the good standing of the Society by associating it with
any dishonest or unethical activity.
Membership of the Society must not be exploited for purely commercial advantage.

Statement of Purpose
This describes the aims of the society as supplied to the Victorian Consumer Affairs Department which are:
(a) To foster an interest in the history of radio and broadcasting.
(b) To facilitate the preservation and restoration of radios and other items associated with the development of broadcasting.
(c) To promote and arrange activities for the participation of members in furtherance of (a) and (b) above.
(d) The assets and income of the organisation shall be applied solely in furtherance of the above-mentioned objects and no portion shall be distributed directly or indirectly to the members of the Society except as bona fide compensation for services rendered or expenses incurred on behalf of the Society.
